During my stay, I found the nearby Barberstown Castle just a short drive away and enjoyed a lovely walk around the beautiful gardens, which really enhanced my weekend experience and made exploration effortless. I loved that the cottage I stayed in was so beautifully furnished and was impeccably clean, making it a wonderful retreat after a day of local adventures.

We also had noise issues. footsteps from the room above were quite loud at night. This made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Parking was easy, and access to the café for lunch was convenient, though we wished there were more casual dining options available later in the day.
